Typing Grade Test
Copy a passage before time runs out and get a score out of 100 and a SONUB typing grade for speed and accuracy. Choose the word, short-text or long-text test.
A grade looks at speed and together, so a fast result with many mistakes does not earn a grade. Before you start, put your index fingers on the bumps of F and J, take a breath and type at a steady pace you can keep until the end.

How the 100 points are split
How your numbers are worked out
Speed () counts only the keys you typed correctly in one minute. On a Korean keyboard one syllable takes two or three keys, so the bar is higher there: 400, 300 and 200 for levels 1, 2 and 3, against 300, 225 and 150 on the other keyboards.
is correct keys ÷ (correct keys + wrong keys) × 100. A level needs both numbers at the same time — and at least 100 keys, so a few very fast keys do not count.
Example: in 60 seconds you type 230 keys correctly and 10 wrong. Accuracy = 230 ÷ 240 × 100 = 95.8%, speed = 230 CPM (about 46 , counting five characters as one word). On an English keyboard that is level 2; on a Korean keyboard, level 3.
