Study on SONUB and prepare for the exam
Study AI through the AI Course on the SONUB website, then apply for the teacher qualification exam. SONUB assesses your video interview and awards a grade.
Study with the AI CourseThe qualification exam is a video interview
An examiner asks questions about AI, and you must answer promptly using your own understanding. Response speed is an important assessment factor.
Prepare to answer immediately to help prevent cheating or using outside assistance. Practise explaining what you have learned in your own words rather than reading memorized answers.
Screen-sharing interview
The examiner checks the computer before asking questions. Respond immediately and complete the requested tasks promptly.
- In Zoom, share your entire screen, not just a window or tab.
- Give the examiner of the shared computer. They first check the ’s display settings to confirm that no additional monitor is connected.
- After the check, answer questions and perform tasks yourself on the shared screen. Using the tools being tested is part of the interview; secretly outsourcing answers to or another person is cheating.
Level 5: example interview tasks
- When asked to create a , start typing immediately and finish within 30 seconds. Then verify that it actually works within 60 seconds after creation. To prevent AI-assisted cheating, skill creation is limited to 30 seconds, with an additional 60 seconds to demonstrate that it works.
- Questions cover commands for installing, configuring and updating tools such as , , , , and . Without hesitation, enter the commands yourself to perform installation and configuration.
- When asked how you would create an AI for a specific topic, start answering without hesitation and finish explaining the entire process within 3 minutes.
The 60-second verification period starts after creation is complete; it is separate from the 30-second creation period.
Several tasks of this difficulty are given. This is the entry-level standard for level 5.
Level 4: Questions cover web using , and .

What can you teach on SONUB?
Artificial intelligence is SONUB’s only official subject. Learning and teaching AI are at the heart of SONUB.
You may also teach English or any other field you can teach. An is not required for those lessons.
Qualification to teach AI
To teach artificial intelligence, you must earn SONUB AI teacher certification at Grade 3 or higher. Studying AI or reading the course materials alone does not grant this qualification.
SONUB’s policy is to place teachers qualified to teach AI first at the top of the homepage.
